Stefan Fodor

Stefan Fodor's practice focuses on real estate and corporate transactional work.

Real Estate: 

Stefan handles a wide range of real estate development related work including negotiating purchase and sale agreements for buyers and sellers, obtaining entitlements through the Teton County planning and development process, negotiating access easements, conservation easements and encroachments as well as handling construction related matters such as negotiating contracts with architects and contractors for both commercial and residential projects.  In addition, Stefan represents both landlords and tenants in the commercial and residential setting as well as advising local homeowners’ associations.

Corporate Transactional:

Stefan helps clients decide what sort of entity is best suited for their needs, forms companies and LLC’s and helps clients purchase and sell shares, member interests, or companies.  He advises a number of small to medium size companies in private and government transactions, represents Board of Directors as well as individual directors and provides general corporate advice in addition to negotiating contracts for his clients.  Stefan also advises a number of not-for-profit entities.

Stefan serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Animal Adoption Center, a non-profit animal rescue organization.

Stefan started his legal career at a large Boston law firm.  Then, before succumbing to the draw of Wyoming, he served as Assistant General Counsel to the French America’s Cup Campaign in 2003 and worked for a small Jackson law firm before starting his own firm in 2007.  In addition to being an avid outdoorsman, Stefan has been racing sailboats internationally since 1996, participated in two America’s Cup campaigns, and holds a number of world speed sailing records.
